Following the news of the Gilmore Girls revival, we couldn’t help but wonder what the set of the show would entail. It’s been nearly a decade and surely things were bound to have changed. Enter a few of our favorite spots from the show, revamped in 2016 style!

Lorelai’s Living Room We can see Lorelai’s living room go from shabby chic to boho modern with a vintage flair. A white slipcovered sofa is paired with a reclaimed wood coffee table and a layer of rugs.

The Kitchen Lorelai’s country chic kitchen is traded in for an all-white space that channels the aesthetic of the original.

Mismatched chairs

for the kitchen table are a must!

Lorelai’s Bedroom Out with the floral wallpaper and in with a textured wall paint that complements the fresh blues of the bed linens.

Parent’s Living Room Emily will have surely redecorated, and while it goes without saying that it will maintain its traditional aesthetic, we can see Mrs. Gilmore incorporating a few modern elements into the mix.

Parent’s Dining Room What was once a monochrome space decked entirely in traditional form, will transform into an elegant spot with a Parisian flair.

The Dragonfly Inn We’re all for swapping out the outdated country-esque decor to a traditionally elegant space with antique furnishings and a neutral palette.

The Kitchen Of The Dragonfly Inn Keeping in line with the farmhouse chic aesthetic of the inn, we’d revamp the space with subway tiles paired with soft green paneling, and leather pulls for the rustic cabinets.after
