By now, you know that we are completely and unapologetically infatuated with anything and everything tiny. From miniscule homes and itty-bitty greenery to pee-wee presents and teeny appliances, there’s something particularly fascinating about the smaller-than-average. With summer fast approaching, it only seems fitting to turn our attention to a more seasonally appropriate obsession: tiny swimming pools. Also known as “cocktail pools” or “plunge pools,” we scoured Instagram for the dreamiest pocket-sized plunge baths around. Here are ten adorable swimming holes to kickstart your summer wanderlust.

Pool for one, please! Located at the Little Red Barn (an enchanting hideout in Queensland, Australia, that, yes, you can rent IRL on Airbnb), this scenic spot was designed for the ultimate solo soak.

Further proof that Australians do design-savvy swimming pools best, this all-white marvel by Melbourne-based architect Mel Bright is a backyard game-changer. But beware: Any brief plans for a quick dip may quickly turn into a day-long swim sesh.

From its intricately tiled surface to its crystal clear waters, the serene swimming pool at the Ryad Dyor (a boutique hotel in the heart of Marrakech’s famous medina) is pure magic.

If getting to enjoy panoramic desert views all day long means sacrificing perfectly smooth skin for a permanently pruney state, so be it. The newly completed pool at Sara and Rich Combs’s beloved Joshua Tree stay is the only spot worth soaking in the arid scenery.

File this swoon-worthy poolscape under backyard goals. Though basic in shape and petite by design, there’s still plenty of room for a float (or two) in this ultra-modern swimming pool.

Not like you need a reason to visit Bali (other than it’s Bali), but if you were looking for a solid excuse to justify a well-deserved vacation splurge, this tranquil nook will convince you to book your ticket ASAP.

For those of you who don’t know us and what we do, here is a brief introduction. We are a small Key West based office of three (until our lovely intern Lea joins us later this year). There is Craig Reynolds, owner and Landscape Architect extraordinaire as well as ping-pong playing enthusiast. There's Alex Thommes, our senior Landscape Architect with crazy good design and CAD skills, plus he's the guy on the other side of the ping-pong table. Then there’s me, Tamara Alvarez, office coordinator and head of Marketing. Which means I am the one responsible for all social media, including this post, besides being the in-house photographer. Then of course I tackle whatever else needs to be done (Jack of all trades…or something like that). So now you know about the small design team that is passionate about and loves what we do. We look forward to sharing more of our designs with you starting with this great project which has only recently been completed. We look forward to helping you design your very own Tropical Retreat!

Given its tropical ambiance and surrounding exotic foliage, you’d almost never guess that this hidden gem was in Florida.

Talk about feeling on top of the world. You may not be able to practice your strokes or your doggie-paddle, for that matter, but this teeny plunge pool is worth the view alone.

What was once a wine cellar carved into the cliffside of Santorini is now an Airbnb with the most epic secret hangout spot.

Larger than a bathtub but smaller than your average plunge pool, this seriously adorable soaking spot at Hotel Esencia in Tulum, Mexico, is too cute not sink into.
