We know, we know. It’s still August. There are plenty of days full of beach reads and soft-serve ice cream ahead of us. But like it or not, the end of summer is fast approaching. Thankfully, we can find consolation in this bit of decor news: Chip and Joanna Gaines are releasing their fall Target collection. Full of toasty colors and cozy textures, it will make you feel a little better about having to pack up your swimsuit.
The new Hearth & Hand with Magnolia line has something for every room in the house, from plush bedding (ideal for bundling up on brisk nights) to ochre-colored wreaths. However, we have our eye on the kitchen and dining section—and, apparently, so did Joanna when she was dreaming everything up.
“As I was designing the new collection, I wanted to create pieces that would inspire a warm autumn get-together with family and friends,” she explained in a statement. “These authentic cast-iron pots, bowls, and condiment caddies are versatile enough to serve outdoors and beautiful enough to double as decor inside.”
Don’t get us wrong, we love a good barbecue, but these entertaining goodies will make you excited to throw a fall dinner party. Linens in the muted colors of the season will lay the foundation for your table (and the rest of the week will give your kitchen a tiny refresh when you drape the tea towels over your oven door), while amber-hued glass bottles are the perfect vessels for a casual centerpiece. Just add a few sprigs of baby’s breath and scatter the smaller bottles on their own.
There’s a lot of cast iron in the new Hearth & Hand collection, too: The mini pots are perfect for individual desserts, and we can’t wait to use the cream-colored Dutch oven to bring hearty soups and stews straight from stove to table. Because throwing dinner parties is fun, but having to do extra dishes is not.
Mark your calendars for August 18 to shop the new Hearth & Hand with Magnolia collection—but you can get a sneak peek of the products online, right now.
