Or your bath towel and so much more.

They say that peace comes from within, but if a little shopping gets us closer to zen, then we’re all for it. And it’s looking like IKEA’s new collection, Vårdande, is the perfect place to begin. The just-launched assortment of 15 items is all about slowing down and reducing stress (fun fact—in Swedish, Vårdande means “to take care of”), and the two designers for the brand, Akanksha Deo and Sarah Fager, did just that. They worked with suppliers across Asia that are focused on bringing long-term employment and education opportunities to marginalized groups on calming products like waffle-knit bath towels and jute plant pots. Of course, nothing puts us more at ease than a super-functional storage piece.

The item that our editors are most excited about is the canvas wall organizer. We’re thinking of it as a less committal (and way less expensive) version of Vitra’s iconic $600 Uten.Silo. IKEA’s take on vertical storage is $18 and can be used a million different ways, depending on your decluttering needs, but one thing is for sure: It will hold your yoga mat. The 19-inch-wide pocket at the bottom means you no longer have to shove your mat under your bed where it’ll inevitably get dusty.

If you don’t want to use this find just for your workout staples, the good news is you don’t have to. Need your mudroom to be hardworking? Hang it up by the door and designate one compartment for keys, another for spare masks, and the widest slots for mail. In the bathroom, pin it up and stock it with hairbrushes and everyday beauty products. (Psst: The yoga mat cubby can be used for rolled-up towels, too.) Or display it over your nightstand as if it were a work of art and fill it with books and reading glasses. Your home will be well on its way to serenity in no time.
