We’d Buy Emma Roberts’s L.A. House Just for the Red Onyx Bathroom

Emma Roberts’s Los Angeles home is basically a Pierce & Ward moodboard come to life. The design duo—aka the queens of collected cool—filled the three-bedroom spot with their signature moves: jewel tones, groovy silhouettes, and just the right amount of patina. (You’ve seen their West Elm collab, right?) Now, it’s on the market for $4.9 million, but the real value is in the tricks you’ll want to steal.

Let’s start in the living room, where a soaring vaulted ceiling sets the stage for a stripe obsession: the fireplace is painted in burgundy and cream bands, flanked by matching armchairs in a similar palette. A bay window, complete with diamond-paned glass and a marquetry pedestal table, turns a sunny corner into a reading nook. And like any proper Pierce & Ward space, it’s all about the mix—pleated floor lamps, vintage trunks, and a needlepoint pillow that all somehow makes perfect sense together. 

A second sitting area ups the cozy factor with built-in bookcases and French doors that open to a yard straight out of an English garden.
