Airbnb Predicts Everyone Will Be Traveling to This International City in 2023

If more travel is at the top of your New Year’s resolutions, we’re betting there’s an international hub on your list. Luckily, Airbnb just released its top destinations report, which covered where everyone stayed in 2022 and, more important, where we’ll all be vacationing in 2023.  Unsurprisingly, places that recently reopened their borders such as Australia and New Zealand are trending, but one coastal town in Europe is looking like it will reign supreme. The most searches for future check-ins were for Málaga, Spain, a seaside perch known for golden beaches, tapas, and bringing Pablo Picasso into the world. 

Even if you’re thrilled to get out of the house, days filled with sun, snacks, and art galleries call for a well-designed stay that feels like home to return to at night. Sifting through hundreds of listings can start to take the fun out of trip planning, so we dove in and handpicked a few spots we’d be happy to book.
