Shower organization can be tough. No matter what, most caddies give off major dorm vibes and don’t quite fit all of your bath time essentials. Even those corner tension rod towers don’t always make the college student–to–adult cut. But Quiet Town—the brand behind those chic semitransparent shower curtains you see in every cool bathroom—is shaking things up. This week, the company launched The Spot, and it draws on one of our favorite tried-and-true storage essentials: pegboards.
While it is meant to hang around a showerhead like most other caddies, this system is totally modular. The circular support, made in collaboration with NYC-based Brad Ascalon Studios, is covered in little slots that make it possible to hook on a whole host of compatible accessories: a toothbrush holder, bottle baskets, razor hooks, and more. But to start, each powder-coated aluminum piece comes with a fogless mirror, soap dish, big basket, and single hook. Depending on your mood (or the color of your tile), you can have fun selecting from one of three hues (black, green, or sand), and just like all the add-ons, the strap is also adjustable.
Even better: It can be used outside of the shower. Putting it up is simple: You can either attach it to the wall with adhesive strips or a set of screws and anchors. The organizer is pretty enough to put on full display in your entryway, and the clip-in containers are perfect for corralling mail, keys, and sunscreen.
The Spot (Pine), Quiet Town ($198)
At $198, it is certainly on the pricey side when it comes to over-showerhead racks, but it’s not often you’ve got a piece from an award-winning designer just chilling in your bathroom. Also, consider that this one will grow with you and can be reinstalled over and over again as you change addresses.
