Austin is always the place to be, but maybe never more than during SXSW. An influx of influencers, tech giants, musicians, and panellists pulls in quite the crowd, and domino and Serena & Lily wouldn’t have missed it. Over a long weekend of sun (and some rain), our teams enjoyed a Texan good time only Austin can deliver.

“The Austin design community is incredibly vibrant and full of talent. They’ve got a spin on design that’s so reflective of the originality of Austin… It’s so fun to see! It was an honor and pleasure to partner with Domino on bringing this inspiring group together, in a pitch-perfect setting.”

The key to making the most out of your SXSW experience (without living in a constant state of FOMO), is to select a few events that really stand out to you, and really be present. That’s what happened when Serena & Lily threw an intimate dinner for Austin’s most design-savvy during SXSW Interactive this year, and wouldn’t you know it–we joined them!

Tables donned in Serena & Lily’s summer 2016 best, and delightfully delectable cuisine by Josephine House, one of Austin’s most essential restos, set the scene for an evening of fun and friendly banter. It was hard not to be inspired by the evening’s attendees, who included

Lori Greeley

, CEO of Serena & Lily, as well as Serena Dugan, Co-Founder and Chief Design Officer. These inspiring ladies were joined by designers, bloggers, photographers, entrepreneurs, (and us!) and it was a night worth capturing in 1,000 images. For now, we’ve selected our favorites here, along with our favorite Serena & Lily finds in their shop-in-shop on domino.com to help you re-create this stunning evening at home!

“I always love seeing our product in new settings, and Josephine House was truly the ideal backdrop for our Summer Collection. The Riviera Chairs and Sol Pareos fit their scene perfectly, and the space inspired me for my next round of designing. I can’t imagine a sweeter dining space!”
