Augusta Hoffman Debuted an Artist-Inspired Collection with Hudson Valley Lighting
Louise, Gerhard, Celmins: These are just some of the artist names that New York City-based interior designer Augusta Hoffman has chosen for her debut collection with Hudson Valley Lighting. They accompany minimalist, vintage-inspired designs of hand-shirred silk, braided cording, whip-stitch details, rice paper shades, and tactile iron. We’re particularly drawn to the Ellsworth’s glass-diffused light, as well as the curved arms of the Elaine sconce and boxy frame of the Louise pendant.

Susan Clark Designed Furniture Inspired by Rooflines and Leafs for DWR
Multidisciplinary designer Susan Clark has continually wowed us with her gallery and studio Rador, so we were thrilled to hear that she has released a capsule collection of furniture with Design Within Reach. The Contra Sofa system includes various modular arrangements, a lounge chair, and ottoman styles, which nod to the framework of Nordic thatched roofs, an influence that can be seen in the combination of sculptural wood spine and curved, upholstered seat. The Pinna Table is crafted with negative space in mind, its organically-shaped wood base topped with a marble round in various shades.
Moniomi and Concrete Collaborative Dreamt Up a Gelato-Inspired Collection
Our favorite terrazzo source collaborated with Miami-based interior design studio Moniomi on a gelato-inspired tile launch that includes four colors—lemony Cello, pistachio-esque Tacchio, strawberry-hued Frago, and minimalist Stracci. The pieces feature oversized fragments and varying monochromatic schemes that we’re envisioning in powder rooms, entryways, and even statement backsplashes.
Il Buco Vita and Commune Teamed Up on a Line of Ceramics
The homewares arm of downtown dining destination Il Buco has partnered with Commune Design to bring a limited-edition ceramic collection to life. Made with Assisi artisans, the mix of tea accessories and a trio of canisters in different sizes are crafted in Umbria from black clay and available in an autumnal palette of eggplant, turmeric, rhubarb, mushroom, olive, and earth.
Eric Wareheim Designed Steak Knives for Made In
On the heels of his latest cookbook Steak House: The People, the Places, the Recipes, multihyphenate creative (and Domino cover star) Eric Wareheim has unveiled a set of enduringly chic steak knives with kitchen brand Made In. Forged in France, these non-serrated knives are finished with mother-of-pearl handles—details that land them in the sure-to-sell-out category.
Mill Released Fresh Colors of Its Cult Favorite Food Recycler
Mill—one of our favorite kitchen brands to debut from the last few years—has only made their signature Food Recycler in simple white. The appliance, which uses smart sensors and adaptive algorithms to process 40 pounds of food scraps into nutrient-rich grounds, is now available in sleek all-black and stainless steel. The new hues raise the price slightly, but if you’re particular about your aesthetic, it’s worth every extra penny.
Sixpenny Unveiled New Collections, Including a Sprawl-Out Sofa
New seating and sculptural table styles are now available from editor-loved furniture brand Sixpenny. The low-profile Yogi sofas and chair embrace a chunky, boxy form; the Terra tables balance an Art Deco sensibility with organic form; the Tango chair presents whimsical proportions; and the Rho table and pedestal hold court with a classic shape. There are also a few new wood finishes and fresh velvet upholstery, too.
Backdrop Reimagined Archival Schumacher Wallpapers
When Backdrop’s co-founder and creative director Natalie Ebel visits New York City, she can’t help but draw inspiration from the extensive archive of 130-year-old textile house (and sister brand) Schumacher. After one such recent visit, Ebel and her team decided to reimagined a set of four 20th century designs, ranging from a 1950s architectural panel set and a Surrealist-inspired trellis patterns to two horse-inspired motifs. Everything but the Palazzo set starts at $36 per yard, and we particularly love the Tanbark style in earthy brown.
Boll & Branch Crafted the Coziest Cashmere Sheets
We regularly turn to Boll & Branch for high-quality bedding, and in its recent fall drop, we noticed that they quietly debuted extremely soft cashmere sheets in queen and king sizes. We can’t overstate how cozy this set is, which is made with organic Turkish cotton and then brushed and washed. While we’re most drawn to the version with a tonal merrowed edge, the minimalist plaid holds its own.
Ernesta Introduced Persian Rugs
Persian rugs are iconic for a reason—they’re usually painstakingly hand-knotted, intricately patterned, and naturally-dyed. They’re not just floor coverings, they’re art. Ernesta’s latest collection, The Persian Edit, is a thoughtful ode to the timeless style, paired with the brand’s modern-day custom sizing and two-week delivery. Made in Turkey, each 100-percent wool rug is hand-dyed, drip-dried, walnut-stained, and flame-brushed, among other steps, to give it similar character and color to an antique.
