This is “In Our Carts,” a monthly series in which I’ll round up my and other editors’ favorite product launches. They’re taken straight from our #editors-picks Slack channel, where our team drops the many press releases that fill our inboxes. I sort through them for the best of the best. That way, you can read just about the good stuff—nothing more and nothing less.
Neighbor Revealed a Windsor-Inspired Outdoor Furniture Collection
Neighbor, the outdoor brand that makes some of our favorite patio furniture, looked to the past when developing its latest line, titled Felloe. The high spindle back and solid seat present in Windsor chairs, which date back to the 1700s, inspired this collection, which is its first in two years. Neighbor puts its stamp on the style by building its sofas, tables, and chairs in solid teak, adding cushions wrapped in weather-resistant Sunbrella fabric, and making the whole system modular.
Marimekko Tapped Petra Borner For Its Latest Artist Series
For the latest iteration of its Artist Series, Marimekko collaborated with London-based Swedish artist Petra Börner to apply her lively floral motifs to the Finnish brand’s clothing and home goods. Awash in shades of vibrant orange, spearmints, and blues, dresses and tops as well as throw pillows and dishes take on the Börner’s hand-drawn lines. Psst: She even carved the pattern onto the cast for the Oiva Vildmo serving platter herself.
Sabai Unveiled a Sleeper Sofa—and a Sleeper Chair
We’ve seen plenty of sleeper sofas, but we’re always intrigued when we get a glimpse of a sleeper chair. Sabai just launched its version of both, covered in 100 percent recycled velvet or natural hemp. Trading a stand-alone mattress and metal frame for a flip-out model, the Eclipse series can go from seating in a guest room to a full-on bed in five minutes tops. Pick a solid hue like chocolatey brown or go with a piped edge for a two-tone look. Either way, the furniture is made in the U.S. with FSC-certified wood and rubberized coconut fiber.
Frama Designed Minimalist Barware
These new bar tools from Frama prove that ergonomic design can be sexy. Every bend and twist is engineered to be held naturally in hand, and the premium stainless steel construction—its regular use is in precision tools—is stronger than your average metal. The corkscrew and bottle opener are weighted for balance, and they’ll look just as good hanging out on your bar as they do opening a bottle of chenin blanc.
Our Place Expanded Its Titanium Cookware Line
On the heels of its Titanium Always Pan Pro being named one of Time’s best inventions of 2024, Our Place has launched an expanded line of the cookware. Now, the brand’s Perfect Pot, Mini styles, and a larger capacity Always Pan are available with the same no-coating nonstick technology and shiny exterior. A 10-piece set clocks in at less than $450.
Lucy Williams Dropped Fresh Rugs with Pelican House
When our home editor Lydia Geisel shared that ever-stylish Brit Lucy Williams had teamed up with Pelican House on an exclusive new rug collection, we immediately beelined to see them. Titled Havens, the trio (in either jute or wool) was inspired by three places Williams’ loves: England, Wales, and Greece. With motifs nodding to everything from folk art and picket fences to sand dunes and aquatic life, each design is handwoven and ready to be mixed and matched with other patterns.
Mitts Made Sponges Specific to Wine Glasses
While even the most fragile wine glasses can go in the dishwasher these days, there are times when you don’t have two hours to wait for them to be clean. But stuffing a rectangle sponge in pricey Zaltos has never been fun. That’s why new brand Mitts designed a different shape that’s much easier to scooch around rims without fear of shattering glass. But what we really like about the introduction is that its way more versatile than you think—use it to clean knives, crystal rocks glasses, and even kitchen sink faucets. We also think the branding is pretty cute, too.
Parachute Launched a Beach Towel Capsule
Did we need another cabana stripe towel? Our mantra is that there are never enough. Parachute launched a Beach Capsule that includes a double-sided cotton terry version of the classic, as well as a mini-checked option in jacquard weave. There’s also an oversized blanket that packs down for travel to and from the water, and a linen robe for at-home lounging—we’ll take it all in prep for beach season.
West Haddon Hall Debuted an Art Deco-Meets-Modernism Collection
Interior designer Kate Driver is the force behind studio West Haddon Hall, and last year, she started rolling out furniture as a part of her practice. The second collection builds on that debut, bringing together inspiration from Art Deco and Modernism, as well as natural materials and old world techniques; we’re fans of the floating credenza and the resin side table, as well as the Mulberry lounge chair primed for devouring a novel.
