Our Home Editor Narrowed Down Her 12 Favorite Affordable Artworks 

When Artfully Walls, an online art destination that sells high-quality, affordable art by nearly 1,000 artists globally, asked me if I would curate a selection of my favorite pieces on the site, I immediately set up an account so I could start “hearting” things. While you can easily filter by decor style, category (animals, people, abstract, etc.), or even the new, nifty AI search tool, I decided to go to the artists landing page and comb through all the creatives featured on Artfully Walls, because if I was going to pinpoint my favorites, I didn’t want to miss a thing. I saved around 37 works in total and then whittled it down to my top 12. Keep reading to see what I chose (and shop my picks on Artfully Walls here!). 

Swirling by Robert Canis

This Robert Canis photograph, depicting hoary cress trees blowing in the wind in Southern England, is the very first piece I saved. The movement of the foliage just made me feel a type of way. 

Sips by Will Haughery

I felt a special connection to this Will Haughery piece right away, mostly because the artist also makes seriously cool furniture alongside his wife, Emma, and lives in the town right next to where I grew up. This psychedelic print is already hanging in my New York City apartment. For some extra oomph, I had it set in the dark pink wood frame.

The Blue Vase by Chelle Gunderson

I’m a sucker for a still life. This one by Tennessee-based painter Chelle Gunderson reminded me of scenes from my grandma’s house.

I was picking up Frank Lloyd Wright energy in this piece by London-based artist and graphic designer Petr Strnad.

Porous #57 by Eunice Kim

This giclee reproduction of a work from Eunice Kim’s Porous series retains the minute details of her original dot-based creation, which was executed in her signature nontoxic collagraph process. 

Abstract Painting no. 14 by Adriano Oliveira

If you’re looking for something impactful but not too loud to hang over a fireplace mantel, this abstract option by Adriano Oliveira is just the ticket.

I naturally gravitate towards pieces that have a slightly unfinished look to them, like this Yaniv Alon sketch.  

Night Whisper by Rejoice Blodörn

First, I’d paint all of my bedroom walls a midnight blue, then I’d hang this dreamy Rejoice Blodörn scene over my headboard and get ready for the best sleep of my life. 

Fence Patterned Chuppah #3 by Jeanne Williamson Ostroff

Even though it’s printed on fine art paper, I love that this Jeanne Williamson Ostroff pick still looks like the original fabric work when you’re looking at it from a distance. 

Hazy Light by Tessa Brown

For anyone out there chasing Amber Lewis’s effortlessly cool California aesthetic, look no further than this moody landscape, based on an oil painting by artist Tessa Brown.  

Birds by Carmela Weiss

Horizontal works aren’t all that easy to find—I want this Carmela Weiss piece to live on the vast wall behind our living room sectional.
