The latest Studio McGee collection for Target isn’t just any Fall 2025 drop. It coincides with the fifth anniversary of the beloved collaboration between the big-box retailer and Shea McGee’s design firm—and the products match the moment. We’ve long turned to the Threshold line for modern-cottagecore staples, but these new arrivals are its most elevated yet. The thoughtful details are more like what you’d expect from vintage pieces: a whipstitch on a lampshade, intricate tassel-style drawer pulls on a nightstand, and the like.

Upon closer inspection, three clear trends emerged: flouncy ruffles, braid motifs, and a brownish-red hue somewhere between mahogany and oxblood. In fact, one of McGee’s favorite pieces this time around is a glossy ceramic table lamp in the moody color. “I love the petite scale,” she notes.

But trends and trendy are two very different things. As Studio McGee wrote on Instagram, they’re delivering their signature “rich textures, cozy layers, and timeless pieces”—starting at $10, no less. Here are our top picks.
