If you’re not shopping Urban Outfitters’s Artist Editions Series page, you’re going about the website all wrong. Since launching its curated collection of limited-edition goods just over a year ago, the fashion-forward retailer has been quietly replenishing its stock with a slew of works by up-and-coming artists. This week, Urban Outfitters introduced new pieces by three cool-girl ceramists, one of whom has graced the site before.

You might remember Katie Kimmel’s Lil Pup vessels from last year, mostly because it was practically impossible to get your hands on one. When the Mojave, California–based artist’s lovable vases hit Urban Outfitters’s site, they sold out in just two days. You never knew you needed a quirky pet to keep your flowers company…until now.

While we’re guessing Kimmel’s colorful companions will fly off the shelves this go-around, we expect none of these new pieces will last long. Two other ceramic designers, Brooke T. Winfrey of Brooklyn-based BTW Ceramics and Budapest’s Rebeka Rácz of Rebu Ceramics, also dropped equally playful works, rounding out this month’s collection to a total of 10 new products. The chance to own affordable, original items is too good for shoppers to pass up.

Want to get ahead of this month’s best buys? Here are three new and current UO makers we have our eye on right now.

The Great Lakes Goods

Rose Lazar’s transition into creating vibrant paper goods was initially just an outlet to keep her love of printmaking alive. Her feel-good works range from faux bouquets you can frame to sunny hand-painted mobiles.

BTW Ceramics

A sense of “modern funkiness” underlines Winfrey’s work, and it shows in her aptly titled Wacky collection. Pour this summer’s lemonade from a Pollock-esque pitcher or add a jolt of attitude to your morning cereal with a splattered bowl.

Broccoli Magazine

Anja Charbonneau’s elevated art print series draws on ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, but with a contemporary spin. Fit for a kitchen or a small powder room, the cannabis-inspired works are bound to bring a smile to any green thumb with a sense of humor.
