There are a lot of reasons to love Trader Joe’s: The delicious snacks, wallet-friendly prices, and addictive Everything But the Bagel seasoning are just a few reasons the store keeps me coming back for more. But did you know one of its best sections is the skin-care aisle?
As a beauty editor, I’ve spent half a decade testing products for magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue and tried everything from snail mucus–infused face masks to 24-karat gold serums. As a result, I tend to be very skeptical when trying new moisturizers or toners. I can usually tell when something is worth the hype or if it’s just a trap.
