So we’ve talked a lot about Trader Joe’s—the food we love, the shopping secrets, the wine, and even our favorite seasoning. But how have we never talked about their beauty section?! Our bad, our bad, but we’re here now, trying to rectify it. Here are the nine products that we always grab from the Trader Joe’s beauty aisle. (The prices listed below could vary, and the cost is usually cheaper in store than it is to purchase online or via Amazon.)
Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion SPF 15, $4.49
This moisturizer is lightweight, absorbs quickly, leaves no residue, and has SPF (albeit a lowly 15, so add an additional one on top of this)—all in all, a super, simple face lotion that’s great for all skin types.
Honey Mango Shave Cream, $3.49
Designed for sensitive skin, this non-foaming shaving cream is enriched with aloe vera and vitamin E and free of any parabens. A good clean shave, all at a super low price.
A Midsummer Night’s Cream Extra Dry Formula, $3.99
Major bonus points, Trader Joe’s, for that clever product name. And also major points for making a body lotion that eradicates dry skin on contact. It’s super hydrating, has a nice light scent, and vegan.
Balanced Moisturizing Nourish Spa Shampoo & Conditioner, $2.99 each
We’re not quite sure what’s in the formula of these magical bottles, but damnnn, they work. Both are very hydrating (even for coarse hair), super lightweight, and don’t weigh hair down for a single minute.
Next to Godliness Oatmeal & Honey Soap, $1.69 for pack of two
Come for the hypnotic honey, cinnamon scent, and then stay for the hydrating benefits and cheap cost.
Not a honey fan? No problem—try out this boldly scented citrus body wash. The mix of orange, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon scents combine to refresh, while vitamin C and B5, as well as chamomile, nourish and moisturize while cleansing.
100% Pure Jojoba Oil, $7.99
This can-do-it-all jojoba oil is perfect for so much—hydrating cuticles, removing eye makeup, moisturizing skin (don’t forget to mix the oil with a toner trick for max hydration though), or conditioning hair. Jojoba oil is especially great because it mimics our own natural oil production, so it’s very gentle and ideal for all over the face.
Nourish All in One Facial Cleanser, $5.99
Simply a solid, basic cleanser at a solid price. Non-irritating and can remove sunscreen, eye makeup, everything in one wash.
Fragrance-free, so this is great for sensitive skin, and it has shea butter, aloe, and green tea to soothe and protect. And oddly enough, a bit of retinol in it too, for max skin regeneration, so make sure you pair sunscreen with this, since retinol is sensitive to sun exposure.
