We’ve talked a lot about Trader Joe’s—the food we love, the shopping secrets employees swear by, the best wine to buy, and even our favorite seasoning. But how have we never talked about their beauty section? The grocery chain mightn’t be known for its beauty and wellness products but that doesn’t mean you should skip that aisle altogether. Here are the nine Trader Joe’s beauty products that we always grab in-store.

Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion SPF 15, $9.29

This moisturizer is lightweight, absorbs quickly, leaves no residue, and contains SPF (albeit 15, so add an additional one on top of this)—all in all, it’s an effective, simple face lotion that’s great for all skin types.

Honey Mango Shave Cream, $10.95

Designed for sensitive skin, this non-foaming shaving cream is enriched with aloe vera and vitamin E, and is paraben-free. It offers a good clean shave, all at a reasonably low price.

A Midsummer Night’s Cream Extra Dry Formula, $23.33 for two

Major bonus points, Trader Joe’s, for that clever product name. And also major points for making a body lotion that eradicates dry skin on contact. It’s super hydrating and has a vegan formula.

Balanced Moisturizing Nourish Spa Shampoo & Conditioner, $14.04

We’re not quite sure what’s in the formula of these magical bottles, but gosh they work. Both are very hydrating (even for coarse hair) and don’t weigh hair down for a single minute.

Next to Godliness Oatmeal & Honey Soap, $10.99 for two

Try for the hypnotic honey and cinnamon scent; buy it again for the hydrating benefits and reasonable cost.

Refresh Citrus Body Wash with Vitamin C, $9.18

Not a honey fan? No problem—try out this citrus body wash. The mix of orange, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon scents combine to refresh, while Vitamin C and B5, as well as chamomile, nourish and moisturize.

100% Pure Jojoba Oil, $13.77

This can-do-it-all jojoba oil is perfect for so much: hydrating cuticles, removing eye makeup, moisturizing skin, or conditioning hair. Jojoba oil is especially great because it mimics our own natural oil production, so it’s very gentle and ideal for all over the face.

Nourish All-in-One Facial Cleanser, $14.07

This is simply an effective cleanser at a solid price. It’s non-irritating and can remove sunscreen, eye makeup, and everything else in one wash.

Nourish Oil-Free Antioxidant Facial Moisturizer, $12.85

A great fragrance-free product for sensitive skin, this moisturizer has shea butter, aloe, and green tea to soothe and protect. The formula contains a bit of retinol in it too, so make sure you pair it with sunscreen to avoid sensitivity.
