If you ask anyone on team Domino, CB2’s Marta glasses are the only glasses you need (they can even be found in the cupboards of our HQ). Irresistible price tag aside—they start at just $1.50 apiece—the paper-thin glass and ever-so-slightly tapered form are what put them at the top of our list. So you can imagine our excitement when we discovered that the new Marta glass joined in on the fluted fun (and for less than a dollar more than the classic).

We’ve been eyeing the ribbed glassware trend for some time, from creatively stackable designs by Ferm Living to the weightier Fferone style and the candy cane swirl texture at Nouvel. Unlike some of the more precious options out there, though, CB2’s are dishwasher safe. And if (or when) your friend drops one, you can skip the tears on replacing it (see: the unbeatable price). To top it off, they’re offered in sizes that meet every need: “Perfect for wine and margaritas, water for the bedside, and kids gulping drinks,” says Domino editor-in-chief Jessica Romm Perez.

Our executive creative director, Kate Berry, ordered these the second she happened upon them, in every size. As a stylist, florist, and overall tabletop extraordinaire, she pairs them with everything from casual melamine plates for her daughter’s weekday lunches to Astier de Villatte dinnerware atop a Svenskt Tenn textile. “Because of their simplicity,” she says, “they can be used in even formal table settings without taking away from the experience.”
