There are ordinary storage containers and then there’s Muji’s PP boxes, the backbone of the Japanese retailer’s organizational products. Unlike their counterparts, these bins have such a neutral design that they can live anywhere: kitchen drawers, bathroom cabinets, living room shelves—you name it. We’re such big fans, we once dedicated a story to them. So when we got word that one of the cult-favorite boxes was on supersale, we knew we couldn’t keep it to ourselves.

The PP Make Box is one of five items featured in the company’s three-day weekend flash sale, running now through July 14. The semitransparent basket typically retails for $5 but is currently marked down to just $2.99. (It was affordable to begin with, but we’ll happily accept an extra 40 percent off any day.)

So what can you “make” with your PP Make Box? We’ve got a few ideas…

Tackle the Cabinet Under the Kitchen Sink

Spruce up your cleaning supply stash by designating one bin for each category of item (spray bottles, rubber gloves, extra sponges) and stacking them on top of one another.

Curate a Bathroom Rolling Cart

If you also snag Muji’s PP Rack, you can create a full-on bathroom station, equipped with guest towels and bubble bath necessities. (The polypropylene surfaces are easy to wipe down, so you won’t have to worry about them getting wet.)

Tidy the Inside of Your Dresser

As much as we may try, our KonMari folds aren’t always up to par. The PP Make Box’s low profile makes it easy to slide into deep dresser drawers to keep your socks and sweaters in order.
