Using the age-old technique of cerusing – a method where the grain of wood is brushed and stained with a contrasting hue – Komenda transformed the oak secretary into a timeless accent piece. While tradition may dictate a classic black and white combo, Komenda opted for a stunning, indigo finish to lend a more modern touch.
