Aimee Song’s Etsy Collaboration Is Here—And We’re Obsessed With the Lighting

It’s common knowledge that a room’s ambience is only as good as its lighting, and no one knows how to curate a vibe quite like Aimee Song. With her new Etsy Creator Collaboration (launched today!), the fashion content creator shifted back into her design roots by working with 14 makers to cocreate the drop’s sculptural pieces. “After remodeling my home, I realized it was a part of the industry I really wanted to get back into,” says Song.
Having studied interior architecture in college, Song has an eye for unique designs that have personality—something the Song of Style founder has become known for with her linen suit sets and colorful midi-dresses. “I’m all about materiality and letting what things are made of shine through,” she says. Our favorites in the assortment include shell-shaped sconces inspired by the California coast and a funky table lamp with a squiggly terracotta base that reminds the entrepreneur of her favorite destination: Morocco. “Finding fixtures that were timeless but also interesting was the hardest part of decorating my home,” Song explains. “So it was a great opportunity to create pieces for people with a similar style.”
But that’s not where the cool ceramic creations end. Handcrafted mugs, pitchers, and vases round out the collection. Song uses the pitcher and matching cups by Epalladio Creations every day for her morning matcha, and the three-legged side table by AOAO Lab sits low alongside her living room sofa. We have a hunch this is only the first of many home decor launches from the O.G. fashion blogger.
