Here’s a peek inside the
domino “shophouse” at
Street — upscale
Manhattan apartments
decorated by creative young
designers with the help of
our favorite
.

STEP INSIDE THE
Thomasville APARTMENTEven though they just launched J + G Design
two years ago, Jennifer Hunter and Georgie
Hambright have already made a name for
themselves with their bright, hip, and artful
interiors. For their domino shophouse, the pair
partnered up with timeless furniture brand
Thomasville for a youthful spin on an urban
family dwelling. Using a healthy mix of colorful
paints, patterns, and functional furnishings, the
duo infused the downtown condo with
personality and utility—without forfeiting any of
its cool, cosmopolitan appeal. “Since it was
such a modern high-rise,” explains Hambright
“We wanted to warm the space up and make it
feel like a real home with comfortable furniture
and playful prints.”

HOW YOU WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE
THOMASVILLE APARTMENT AT 15 WILLIAM?
Transformative. Jen and Georgie used in-line
Thomasville product in a fresh way that is
perfectly appropriate for the space.

WHAT MADE THIS PROJECT
ESPECIALLY FUN FOR YOU?
Working with an urban space, as well as the
opportunity to partner with young designers [like
Jen and Georgie] who were not overly familiar
with the Thomasville brand. It also gave us a
completely new view on how some of our
products could be used in big-city homes.

WHAT DID YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT WHAT
J + G DID WITH THE THOMASVILLE
PIECES IN THE SPACE?
The way they played with scale. While it was a
very compact space, Jen and Georgie used a full
sized sofa and cocktail table in the living area
and created a beautiful, functional and
comfortable scene.
