Last month, when Solange Knowles launched Small Matter, her limited-edition glassware collection, it sold out before buyers could add a second coupe to their carts. Maybe the hype was because it was the first-ever product launch through Saint Heron, her multidisciplinary creative studio, but we (and hundreds of commenters on her Instagram) have been waiting for a restock ever since. Fun fact: Knowles started working on resin sculptures for fun at home and got into working with glass after taking a glassblowing class in Florida. The items in Small Matter were crafted to support the leisure of routine, while creating more opportunities to grow personal collections of Black art. Though it doesn’t look like there will be another chance for those specific pieces, a second collection quietly dropped last week and we suggest stocking up while supplies last.

The four glasses in this line, which range from $37 to $45, are handmade from clear and onyx-colored borosilicate that can withstand hot and cold beverages. With silhouettes spanning from long-stemmed champagne glasses to squattier sculptural globes, we love the idea of mixing the shapes on a tablescape.

It looks like Knowles has plans to scale up her creations in the near future with larger pieces of furniture (according to a recent Instagram post, a desk appears to be up first). If the level of demand last time around is any indication (it sold out in less than two hours), you’ll want to start warming up your “add to cart” finger now.
