Kate Hudson is nothing if not innovative in the kitchen. From developing her own smoothie supplements to figuring out the fastest way to steam potatoes—hint: it involves this $415 contraption—the actress is always trying something new. This week she shared a recipe for mini peach pies with her followers on Instagram, using a hardworking cookware item that might be missing from your cabinets.

Behold: the Staub mini cocotte. These small baking dishes are perfect for individual desserts—check Hudson’s Instagram Stories for her peach pie recipe—and they’re great for many other oven recipes, too. The most famous is probably eggs en cocotte (baked eggs with ham and cheese), but you can also make any kind of quiche, gratin, or macaroni and cheese your heart desires in these delightful little pieces.
If you haven’t tried cooking with cocottes yet, now’s a great time: A set of three is currently on sale for $59 at Target. Stock up and enjoy cozy comfort meals all through the fall.
