Aside from her reputation as a rom-com darling, Jennifer Garner has earned quite a following lately for her playful “pretend cooking show” Reels. In a recent episode, er, Instagram post, some might argue that the brown butter and sage pasta was the star, but it was the globelike lantern she used to navigate her backyard that was giving us main-character energy.

It’s a pretty clever swap if you consider how clunky a flashlight can actually be when you’re trying to do anything in the dark. Thanks to a sleek arched handle and a flat brushed-brass base, Garner was still able to see and use both hands as she set the lamp down to collect leaves of sage from the elevated garden beds.
