John Legend Has the Perfect Gift for the Hard-to-Buy-For Guy in Your Life

For John Legend, there’s no place like home for the holidays—so much so, he wrote a whole song about it back in 2018. The artist admits that this year, Christmas with his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and their four kids, Miles, Luna, Esti, and Wren, will look a lot like how he describes in the tune: “We like to do a lot of things together—make ornaments together, make art together, make food together,” the 12-time Grammy winner tells Domino. The singer produced the just-launched line in partnership with 12 makers from around the globe, including three vendors from Etsy’s Uplift Makers program, which provides financial opportunities to historic artisan communities. The assortment of more than 20 items marks Legend’s second Etsy drop (this past June, he released clever, music-centric storage solutions). 

“I sought out makers who make the type of things that I love, whose creativity and artistry really matched up with my tastes and the things my family loves,” shares Legend. All of the pieces, from the jewel-toned stockings to the hand-painted silk robes, stand out on their own, but they do share one thing in common: They are ideal gifts for the people who seemingly have everything.
