The price of original art makes it one of the most intimidating purchases you can take on for your space, but H&M Home’s latest partnership is making it more accessible to bring creative works home. The just-dropped collaboration stars two talented, internationally recognized visionaries: South African artist Lulama Wolf and Los Angeles–based poet, artist, and author Amber Vittoria. Wolf has made a name for herself by using techniques like smearing, scraping, and deep pigmenting to translate abstract images inspired by architecture. On the other end of the spectrum, Vittoria leans into rainbow-hued ribbons and colorful poetry that represent the nuances of womanhood.

Of the 17 items in the collection, we have our eye on the tufted area rugs. While they’re both bigger ticket items for H&M Home (they start at $349), we’re still calling them a steal—one of Wolf’s originals on canvas will cost you around $3,700. Similar to her paintings, the floor covering the Johannesburg-based artist designed features organic, earth-toned swirls, while various pile heights add texture. Vittoria’s version consists of brightly colored blobs that almost look like mountain peaks. Both rugs are made from 100 percent wool, so they’re as cozy and durable as they are culturally resonant.

The pieces across the rest of the line start at just $15. In our carts: Wolf’s jacquard blanket and hand-painted serveware, along with Vittoria’s satin cushion covers and graphic posters. Anything can be a medium when your home is the muse.
