Emily Ward and Louisa Pierce, who together make up the design duo Pierce & Ward, are behind some of our favorite celebrity home tours. Dakota Johnson’s serene green kitchen, Josh Brolin’s portrait-packed living room, Emma Roberts’s grandma-chic bedroom—all their doing. But just because they have a star-studded client roster doesn’t mean that their designs are completely unattainable. West Elm made sure of that when the brand dropped our 2025 Collab of the Year back in March: 100 pieces with Pierce & Ward.
The twisted metal table lamp, the striped round pillow, the bentwood armchair—everything looks like it could have come straight from a high-end antique store. This is key to nailing the Pierce & Ward look; the pair tend to shop 80-percent vintage for their projects. With serious deals in the mix, like a $199 swivel vanity stool and $249 pleated flush mount, inventory unsurprisingly flew off the shelves (don’t worry, most items will be back in stock by October).

It’s been nearly six months since the Pierce & Ward + West Elm collaboration made its debut, so we caught up with Keith Pollock, the senior vice president of creative and partnerships at West Elm, to recap the top sellers and to find out if we can expect more drops from the design duo in 2026.

What have been the best-sellers (so far)?
The response has been strong across the board, but a few pieces stood out immediately. The Curved Slipper Chair in the striped fabric sold very quickly, as did the Upholstered Sleigh Bed in Juniper. The Cotton Linen Stripe Duvet Cover and Shams also moved fast. Customers really responded to the combination of a classic stripe with the unexpected bow tie closure.
What’s been the sleeper hit of the collection?
Emily and Louisa have a strong sense of what’s missing in the market. The Step Stool is one of those items. Made from deep, gorgeous walnut, it features thoughtful details, like the knob finishes, that set it apart from everything else out there.
Which design was the trickiest to make happen?
We knew the Channeled Sofa had the potential to be something very special—and that we had to execute the form perfectly. It needed to be plush and super soft, yet refined in silhouette. The arm shape, which we’re now obsessed with, required many revisions to get exactly right. We love how it turned out.
Can we expect a second drop in the near future?
We’re adding new sizes and finishes to some of the most popular pieces, like additional height and fabric options for the bar and counter stools, and a wider version of the Perforated Buffet. We’re also introducing new textiles: curtains, quilts, rugs, and more. These additions start rolling out early next year. We’ve loved working with Emily and Louisa and we’re proud of what we’ve created together. That’s all we’ll say for now!
