The choices for solid curtains are numerous, head-spinning really—it seems like every big-box and DTC brand has its own take on a linen drape in neutral colors. But a striped curtain? It’s more elusive. One that’s stylish, versatile, and void of oversized metal rings for hanging? That narrows things quite a bit. We went on the hunt for options that aren’t entirely farmhouse-coded and turned up with nine winners. Here’s the rundown.

Anthropologie Palladio Curtain Panel

Anthropologie

Palladio Curtain Panel, 63" x 50"

If you’re on the hunt for striped curtains, the first stop on your train should be Anthropologie. The style seems to be something of a specialty for the brand, with nearly 20 options to choose from. We’re partial to the semi-sheer, cotton-linen Palladio—the dark teal and ochre combo is sophisticated and stylish with a touch of whimsy. Peep them in cookbook author Dan Pelosi’s Hudson Valley farmhouse; the color combination fits right in with his inviting living room.

Lone Fox’s Drew Scott swears by Twopages curtains, and the company’s highly-rated patterned options include four stripes in a variety of neutral colors, as well as 12 different sizes. Reviewers call them “gorgeous,” “well-made,” and “affordable and elegant”; they love the built-in pleating, too. The preppy windowpane look is also calling our name.

Greenrow Light-Weight Cabana Stripe Curtain

We’ll never say no to a cabana stripe. This cheerful take from sustainably-minded brand Greenrow is made with an Oeko Tex-certified cotton-linen blend and crafted in Turkey. Each panel softly filters light, while pinch pleats and mitered hem keep it elegant. Available in three different sizes, these lightweight drapes are versatile enough for a traditional or contemporary style. Looking for a lined version? The Inside offers a similar color combo with privacy and blackout options.

Quince Coastal Stripe Linen Cotton Curtain

We’re picturing these cotton-linen Quince curtains in our imaginary beach house, lightly rippling from the wind coming off the ocean. Choose between a light-filtering or room-darkening lining and a blue or taupe stripe. Conveniently, the curtains have a dual top treatment of back tab and pole top. Plus, each panel is just $70.

Pottery Barn Parley Striped Linen Curtain

Pottery Barn

Parley Striped Linen Curtain, 50" x 96"

Pottery Barn has several striped curtains to choose from, but the new Parley style is an ideal pairing for a farmhouse. Made from Belgian linen with a cotton lining, these drapes can be hung in four different ways. We love that they already have a worn-in look, which would lend a lovely softness to a nursery or den.
