Amy Schumer is making moves—literally. Over the weekend, she dropped the news on Instagram that she just put her Brooklyn Heights townhouse on the market, offering a rare peek inside the historic home she’s loved for the past three years.

If the exterior looks familiar, that’s because it made a cameo in the 1987 film Moonstruck, serving as Cher’s character’s family home in the Oscar-winning classic. Today, it’s listed for $14 million, and the interiors of the Federal-style building are packed with details that would make any design lover swoon, from the New Orleans-style terrace to the grand Ionic columns on the parlor floor.

But let’s talk about the real showstopper: the kitchen. Tucked away on the garden level, it’s a rustic dream come true, with salvaged wood cabinetry, a three-oven LaCanche range that’s just waiting for a Sunday roast, and top-of-the-line Gaggenau appliances. The wide-plank wood floors and exposed beams bring all the cozy, old-world vibes, while a built-in banquette creates the perfect spot for lingering over coffee—or a late-night comedy brainstorm.

Up on the parlor level, towering ceilings and oversized windows flood the space with light, while pocket doors separate twin sitting rooms that are practically begging for a cocktail party. The upper floors house the primary suite, complete with a private study, dressing room, and a bathroom that wouldn’t be out of place in a five-star spa (think: marble soaking tub, ensuite fireplace, the works). Three more bedrooms and an additional full bath round out the top floor.

And just when you think it can’t get any better, there’s the backyard. The brick-lined patio and terrace off the rear parlor serve serious alfresco goals, and—wait for it—there’s private parking. A true Brooklyn unicorn.
“Will miss it so much and loved our 3 years here,” Schumer writes in her Instagram post. While she may be moving on, this townhouse’s next chapter is just beginning.
