In order to promote the new exhibition of Van Gogh’s Bedrooms, the Art Institute of Chicago recreated one of the artist’s most iconic paintings in the form of a fully functional Airbnb. Charging only $10 a night “for no other reason than I need to buy paint,” Van Gogh acts as the host for this unusual accommodation. Big enough for two people, the Airbnb is located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. For now, the room is available to rent until May 10, and each guest will receive tickets to the Van Gogh exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago. Read more at Refinery29.
