Remember guests? (You know, those special people in your life who come and visit you for a week—or perhaps longer.) They are officially a thing again. At least, that was the case until CB2 came out with its fall collection.
The Alesso Snow White Sleeper Sofa gives nothing away: Its swooping curves and linen-like fabric (it’s actually a Crypton performance textile) lend a polished look. The two leather straps that wrap around from the side and buckle at the front appear to be there just for aesthetics, too, but when you unbuckle them, the base cushion folds out to form a foam mattress that sleeps two. This chic futon–slash–air mattress alternative doesn’t come cheap (it retails for $2,200), but it will do right by your family and friends, not to mention your tight quarters.
A clever sleeper sofa isn’t the only refreshing find we came across while browsing the new assortment. We also learned wicker isn’t just for summer, and if you can’t afford a dreamy marble dining table, a bold stool is just as cool.
