Last night, team Domino gathered in Brooklyn’s City Point to celebrate the launch of our latest pop up shop. The succeeding venture comes in conjunction with the arrival of our new issue, and featured an array of summer-friendly picks. We had The Gathery to thank for the stunning design scheme of the space.
Domino’s premier sponsor, Jet.com, has a dedicated space within the pop-up featuring all the necessities you’ll need to have the best summer ever. Curated by the Domino editors, these products and more are also available at jet.com/domino, where customers receive 20 percent discount with the code DOMINO20.* Jet.com is great because you can get all of your summer essentials in one place—from beach towels to fresh produce. At the pop-up, customers will a taste of what Jet.com has to offer, with complimentary popsicles and cold beverages from Jet’s selection of fresh merchandise.
The inspired decor scheme included a hanging floral installation, which featured an eclectic slew of summer greens. The wall paint paid tribute to the shades we’re coveting this season—the full spectrum available from Pratt & Lambert Paints.
The evening was hosted by actress Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Cocktails were flowing, thanks to Austin Cocktails, the exclusive cocktail and spirits partner of the night.
Small bites served came courtesy of Peter Callahan Catering, and featured palm-sized pots paired with crisp greens, pickled root veggies, and summer fruit cheese platters. Our favorite? The edible “soil” made of mushrooms and an olive tapenade. The appetizers paired well with Barrymore Wines’ Pinot Grigio.
A coffee bar from Illy Caffè (convenient for a mid-shopping spree pick-me-up) came fully stocked with all the essentials.
