Design has the power to comfort us, connect us—and support a community in need. After the tragic shootings in Atlanta last week—in which eight people were killed, six of whom were women of Asian descent—Tantuvi founder Arati Rao, Jean Lee of Ladies & Gentleman Studio, and Hello Human public relations maven Jenny Nguyen pooled their industry influence to rally behind the families of the victims. Their creation: an epic home decor Instagram raffle, #DesignForATL, with all proceeds going to the Asian Americans Advancing Justice’s Atlanta chapter. More than 80 designers have contributed products, including a Noguchi table; an Akari lamp; a Matthias Kaiser vase for the Future Perfect; a Gaetano Pesce tray from Coming Soon New York; and a vanity by Dims.

To enter the contest, go to #DesignForATL’s link in bio and leave a comment in the notes section of your donation with the hashtag and a link to the items you’d like to enter for (see them all on the event’s feed). Every $10 counts as one entry, so the more you give, the higher your chances are. The fundraiser ends this Friday, and the winners of the raffle will be announced on Tuesday, March 30.

Team Domino has been going all in on a number of the pieces—see some of our top picks, below.

I love the simplicity of this In Common With lamp. The warm terracotta pyramid shade, paired with a tonal base, is a timeless combo. —Megan West, head of brand + creative studio

My apartment has a lot of round furniture, so the woven geometric design on these stools would help balance things out—and provide extra seating during movie nights. —Julie Vadnal, contributing editor

With temps reaching the 70s in New York City this week (!), I’m on the hunt for a lightweight blanket to swap for my duvet. (My fiancé likens me to a furnace. In other words, I’m a hot sleeper.) Grace Song’s quilt is my front-runner—I can’t resist a checkerboard pattern, especially an indigo-dyed one. Bonus: Whoever wins it gets to pick the filling of their choice, whether that’s down, wool, or hypoallergenic. —Lindsey Mather, editorial director, home

I recently made the switch from scented candles to incense in my apartment. (My taper budget is still insane, though.) I’m vying for this dish, which can hold each stick upright for a slower burn and catch any ash that might drop in the process—there are a lot of shaggy rugs in my place, so I’m playing it safe here. It will look great topping off a stack of coffee-table books. —Tim Latterner, design editor

Every inch of surface space on my nightstand is precious (my bedroom is basically a shoebox), which is why I’m obsessed with these plug-in sconces. They will cast soft, ambient light and get rid of the need for a bulky lamp—and they’re landlord-friendly. —Lydia Geisel, associate home editor
