The end of the school year might be rapidly approaching, but one recent collaboration has us already dreaming of new desk decor: Chasing Paper just teamed up with ban.do for a line of fun wall decor, and as the playful pieces are perfect for all ages, we’re already planning a major overhaul of our office spaces in order to incorporate them.

“Last winter, I got an email from one of the amazing girls at ban.do to ask if

wanted to be a part of their holiday pop-up. If the ’90s mall theme wasn’t enough, it was [also] the perfect excuse to get out of the terrible Wisconsin winter and have a weekend in sunny LA,” says [%2480%] founder Elizabeth Rees of how the partnership came about. “The event was pure magic: It was an opportunity for us to engage with our customers and make new friends. After the event, we started thinking about the collaboration. It started as one thing (wall stickers), and soon, art prints were added, too!”

Encompassing five art prints and four wall decal sets, the ban.do x Chasing Paper line ranges in price from $5 to $70. The art—including a greenery-filled “Go Your Own Way” piece or a simpler option with “Professional” in rainbow letters—is available to shop both framed and unframed.

“Ban.do already had the art ready to go, and we were immediately excited and inspired. We both styled and shot the collection in our own ways, which I think allowed us both to put our respective brand stamp on things,” explains Rees.

Colorful, vibrant, and equal parts inspirational and emboldening (we’re currently adding the “I’m doing whatever I want now” decal to every empty surface on our desks), the collaboration really is a perfect reflection of both brands. Chasing Paper, which launched a print shop in November 2017, sees its whimsical aesthetic replicated in the designs. And ban.do’s signature fun take on accessories shines in each punchy (and occasionally sassy) item.

As a whole, this particular partnership might inspire productivity and creativity by making your workspace a place where you might actually want to hang out. This was sort of the point, as according to Rees, the brands had a specific customer in mind while designing the collection: “Creative women,” she says. “I don’t mean this to say their job title is creative director; rather, a woman who loves trying new things and likes her world to be a reflection of her personality.”

Ready for a deskside revamp? The collaboration is now being sold on the ban.do website as well as on Chasing Paper. If you’re not sure where to start, take Rees’s suggestion and pick up the tongue-in-cheek “Forever Busy” sticker, which retails for $15, and is sure to make a bold statement.

“We live in a world where ‘busy’ is talked about like a badge of honor, and this is a funny/fun way to express [the fact that] we are all always busy—let’s make today busy AND fun!” says Rees.
