If the inaugural Domino Design
taught us one thing, it’s that there is an astounding number of inspiring design bloggers around the world. Given that we’re based in the United States, our feed is usually dominated by American blogs. So in 2018, we’re making a point to add more international designers to our must-read list to remind ourselves that good design can be found in every corner of the world.
Whether it’s European minimalism or bold patterns and textures from the tropics, we’re always on the lookout for new styles that will help us elevate our own home decor—and these sites by international bloggers definitely deliver. From chic French style to cozy Scandinavian textures, the following blogs show us that when it comes to the home, there are truly no boundaries.

Pinterest has spoken—and Grillo Designs was awarded the Pinner’s Choice Award at Domino’s Design Blog Awards last year. Medina Grillo, the brainchild behind the blog, tells Domino, “I find inspiration from going to a store and liking something, but being unable to afford it. I do research and find patterns, and I just try to put things together.” The result is a chic take on upcycling that allows readers to mix and match in order to find their perfect style.
