Morgan Bulman

Morgan Bulman

Editor

Morgan Bulman joined Recurrent’s New York City office in the summer of 2021 as the associate commerce editor for both Domino and Saveur.

Highlights

  • Expertise and interests include uncovering the coolest designers, spaces, and gadgets, especially those that can help readers tackle their very own DIY dreams.
  • Enjoys shopping on a personal and professional level.
  • Spent nearly three years writing about floors—one of the biggest design decisions (and investments) you can make!—from the nitty gritty of product development to overall trends because, let’s be honest, every home needs a floor.

Experience

Morgan’s first foray into design started at Hearst’s Floor Covering Weekly where she learned the ins and outs of hardwood, rugs, carpet, tile, and vinyl. She traveled regularly to conferences and expos, profiled CEOs, and covered breaking news events. Having spent a lot of time interviewing contractors and builders, Morgan naturally shifted gears as the associate editor of commerce, and now tackles home tours and shopping guides, specializing in reno-related topics.

Education

After a short stint in the sciences at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Morgan did a 180, graduating from SUNY Brockport with a bachelor’s degree in English and minor in Business Administration. She then went on to earn a master’s degree in Magazine, Newspaper, and Online Journalism at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School.
