Those who don’t regularly snoop around the Serena & Lily sale section might not be aware that the designer-beloved retailer is routinely packed with deals on premium wares. The site is, seemingly, always running some sort of promotion. Discounted categories of late have included dining room furniture, upholstery, and outdoor-friendly pieces, but as of today, everything is sporting a price slash. While the site is officially up to 40% off through September 4, we uncovered some clearance items up to 70% off, too.
Your top buys from this year helped trim our list of favorites to the good stuff, aka the most compelling markdowns. Below, check out scalloped rattan tables, striped pillow covers with a ruffled trim, linen napkin sets, and more—organized in descending order of total savings.

After recommending these yarn-dyed cotton beauties as an easy way to propel your sofa into a new season, you went all in. While timeless enough to adorn your couch all year long, it might be just the right addition to spice things up for fall. If you’re looking for more cover options, might we point you to the next best thing(s): This corduroy cover in a rich navy blue is 64% off, and these tassel-edged linen options, both 58% off, come in two different earthy tones: persimmon orange and grove green.
Open-weave rattan hand-fastened in a tapered design—we’re guessing it was just as easy for you to picture the Santa Barbara pedant lamp suspended above your dining table or lounge area as we did.
Made from 100% Belgian flax linen, you’d expect this quartet of 20-inch squares to run pricey, but on sale they’re surprisingly inexpensive, which is how we (and you) fell in love with them in the first place.
Like a jute rug for your table, this woven wonder is neutral enough to mix in with other dining essentials no matter the meal. We were initially drawn by the preppy detail of the edge, which led to it being named to our table runner guide as the best splurge.
If it’s dressed in gingham, we’ll love it, as is the case for Serena & Lily’s Hyannis sheets and duvet. While you’ve ultimately always gone for the beachy blue, we thought it’d be worth calling out the warm green. Not only is it the most discounted, but it would be a great seasonal transition for your linen closet, offering a decidedly fall look that makes us think of chilly mornings.
The bamboo lantern that was your luminary of choice is now sold out, but the Tortola is similar enough in size and appearance: a natural, woven material (in this case, rattan) to fit a votive candle. If you’re in need of an ambient glow long after sunset, look no further than this chic alternative, now $50 less.
Rattan and scallops—a Serena & Lily signature combo that nobody can get enough of. Pull up this petite style next to a bed or sofa or plop it in an entryway.
This Parsons-style nightstand, dressed head to toe in baby blue sanded linen and sporting a vintagelike texture, is now less than $1,000. Five coats of matte lacquer and prim brass hardware combine to top things off.
Included in our monthly Cool Kids column in June, the Kalahari mini quilt was a clear nursery favorite. Aside from the sweet safari-inspired pattern of elephants and palm leaves, we love the detailed stitching on the cotton-voile bedspread.
When we think of Serena & Lily, the first things that come to mind are its wicker baskets and this dip-dyed teak stool, the latter of which has been a Domino reader favorite for what feels like years. Aside from its cuteness, the versatility is what wins everyone over. It’s a perfectly tiny perch for kiddos brushing their teeth at the bathroom sink before bed and ideal to keep nearby for adults to access kitchen shelves just out of reach. Or simply tap it as a plant stand. The beige and pink sand are 24% off, compared to the retailer’s classic colors of coastal blue and white, which are both 12% off.
Back in February, the Norfolk sofa was your of-the-moment slipcover crush—it’s offered in 140-plus different fabrics and patterns. And now, even in a sophisticated stripe, you can bring it home for 20% off. While that may not sound like a lot, the percentage translates to a $1,220 saving. For a piece that’s handmade by craftspeople in North Carolina, from the wood frame to the cotton-filled cushions, that’s still quite the bargain.
Beanbags are some of our favorite laid-back loungers, and the Newport won you over with its low-profile yet structured silhouette, giving the kid-friendly seat a more sophisticated vibe. It was a popular pick in March, when it was 20% off, and now just a touch shy of that original discount, we think it’s still lovable all the same.
