This is “In Our Carts,” a monthly series in which I’ll round up my and other editors’ favorite product launches. They’re taken straight from our #editors-picks Slack channel, where our team drops the many press releases that fill our inboxes. I sort through them for the best of the best. That way, you can read just about the good stuff—nothing more and nothing less.
House of Leon Released Furniture Inspired by Milan
As we barrel toward Salone del Mobile in April, House of Leon already has its mind on Milan. In its latest collection inspired by the city, the brand introduced a suite of oak-base living room furniture (inspired by moldings in Italian villas), sculptural accent chairs and side tables, stainless steel stools and media units, and more tactile pieces that reference different architectural aspects of the city. That’s amore to us.
IKEA’s Spring Collection Included $3 Cotton Placemats
Many of IKEA’s latest products are primed for Easter, but among the bunny-coded and tulip-shaped egg cups, pastel vases, and milk chocolate are cheerful tabletop linens that very budget-friendly. Let’s talk about these darling $3 placemats that are 100% cotton and machine washable, as well as the berry-hued gingham tablecloth that has an edge on classic red.
Temple Studio and Mary Matson Collaborated on Wallpaper
Los Angeles-based illustrator Mary Matson has brought her bright and breezy prints to textile, rug, and wallpaper brand Temple Studio. The entire line is like a dose of vitamin D, with patterns ranging from beach towel-inspired to ditsy florals and all manner of movement on sand and surf. We’re particularly fond of the Sun Print motif, named for a favorite childhood craft.
Nickey Kehoe Designed a Cooler Adirondack Chair
Leave it to Nickey Kehoe to reinvent a classic with just the right amount of panache. Its Lakeside Adirondack Chair eschews the chunkier traditional silhouette for something more minimal and crafted from sustainably-sourced teak that will age beautifully. We’d drop two around a firepit for the ultimate backyard retreat.
Dorai Home Launched a Cat Bowl
Dorai Home makes smart, easy-to-maintain home essentials from diatomaceous earth, a material that absorbs excess moisture and dries super quickly. Our home editor is a fan of the over-the-sink dish pad, and the brand also makes pet products like dog bowls. They extended that line by releasing an elevated, anti-whisker fatigue cat bowl and stone base—and the cat owners among us are psyched.
Matouk’s Latest Bedding Showcased a Sweet Schumacher Print
Matouk applied Schumacher’s Cabanon Stripe to percale bedding, and we can’t get over how sophisticated it looks. The small scale of the floral motif and narrow stripes is elegant in blue and white; if you don’t want to spring for the full shebang, a pair of pillowcases would add some punch to a neutral sheets. You can even get a tissue box cover in the print, if you’d like.
Ready To Hang Released a Mirror That Has Clutch Details
We just love the photography campaign for Ready to Hang’s Clasp Mirror, which sees it being toted around Soho like an oversized clutch. The frame detail it’s named for adds just enough personality to this decor piece, which comes in chrome or black.
Thuma Introduced an Upholstered Bed Frame
Thuma married its signature Japanese joinery with an upholstered frame in its new Signature Bed. Available in a performance linen or wool felt, the bed comes in six different sizes (even a Twin XL) and can be paired with a headboard. It’s a smart evolution in the brand’s lineup, which prioritizes easy assembly in its product mix.
Soho Home’s New Rugs Are Inspired by Its Member Clubs
Every rug we encountered in Soho Home’s 2025 spring/summer collection elicited a gasp. With some leaning into geometry and Art Deco while others embrace Art Nouveau florals, the entire line is mesmerizing. Hand-tufting and hand-knotting add to the artisanal quality of each piece, which are available in various sizing. We’ll take the Adamson style, inspired by the interiors at Soho House Hong Kong, please and thank you.
