You could be staring at a freshly built house, but if it’s the work of Heidi Caillier, you’d never know it. That’s how good the Seattle-based interior designer is at injecting history and tradition into a space. Exhibit A: Kendall Jenner’s Wyoming home, where Caillier laid the character on thick with antique quilts, block print cushions, ditsy floral wallpaper, and midcentury Italian mirrors. What’s even more impressive is that the design pro has gone on to prove that anyone (not just celebrities!) can pull off her folksy, layered aesthetic. They simply need to shop her Lulu and Georgia collection—the Collab of the Year in our 2026 Domino Good Design Awards.
The Heidi Caillier x Lulu and Georgia collaboration, a vast assortment of furniture, lighting, decor, table linens, and fabric, isn’t just a spot-on distillation of the pro’s love of vintage and pattern on pattern. Its January debut marked the beginning of Caillier’s design world domination; we’ve since watched her signature storied style reach seemingly every corner of the internet. Ahead, we got the scoop from Caillier on the design process, the sleeper hit of the collection, and what we can expect from future drops.
Which products were the most challenging to pull off?
The Garda sconce was one of the more challenging pieces to develop because so much of its character comes from feeling genuinely vintage. We were recreating an aged, naturally patinated finish in a newly produced piece, while also refining the sculptural floral and leaf arrangement to stay true to my vision.
The Roma accent chair presented a similar challenge in translating my love of collected, vintage pieces into something we could produce consistently. Inspired by a vintage bamboo frame chair, the development required balancing the character of the frame, finish, and unique textile with the functional requirements of comfort and construction.
What are the current bestsellers?
Furniture led the way, with the Ashbury dining chair and Fremont collection as real standouts. Our made-to-order pieces. like the Paley accent Chair, Marsden sofa, and Chestnut bed did wonderfully, too. Customers really responded to the prints and patterned fabrics, confirming that the traditional design voice at the heart of this collection truly resonated.
Was there a sleeper hit?
The Golden Linen tablecloth. It far outsold our expectations. I think it gave customers a chance to bring home a signature “Heidi” piece at a really accessible price point without having to commit to a big furniture purchase.
Is there anything you didn’t get the chance to do, but hope to in the future?
Outdoor.
What’s one item you hope people snap up before it’s gone?
The Roma chair! I love it so much.
Can we expect a second drop?
We’re already at work on future collections, including several exciting new categories. We can’t wait to share them with our customers.
