If you’ve been following the colorful career of Heidi Caillier (which received a turboboost after she revealed her design for Kendall Jenner’s picture-perfect mountain home last year), you know that the Seattle-based powerhouse leans heavy on nostalgia, pattern clashing, and prints that never look dated or kitsch. Her second collaboration with decor brand Joon Loloi, which launches today and consists of 37 rugs and 27 pillows, repackages all of the things that made their first go-around so resonant—floral motifs with a Scandinavian sensibility, neutrals with enough visual interest to stand on their own—but this time with a fresh, woodsier bent.

While the collection feels like a cohesive body of work, Caillier intended for each piece to work across aesthetics.

Where the first collection, which debuted in 2025, leaned pink and slightly more feminine, their latest partnership is bolder and incorporates darker hues, showcasing indigos and a chocolate rose colorway that’ll surely be a crowd pleaser.

“I learned a lot from our first collection and I wanted to build on that with the new one,” Caillier says. “We leaned into different constructions, some bold pattern, and unexpected colors that feel fresh.”

The elements of nature and vintage-inspired motifs that have become part of the Caillier lexicon are very much present in the hand-knotted pieces. “I am very inspired by looking at things that are not necessarily rugs, but might be different patterns on an antique textile or quilt,” Caillier notes, with floor coverings like the Stella and Forrest playing with scale and repetition to make the blooms feel more geometric and surprising.

When asked to describe the collection in three words, Caillier opted for “eclectic, timeless, striking.” | Forrest Hand-Tufted Wool Rug in Chocolate/Rose.

That said, Caillier designed the new line from a fully instinctual place. Indian block prints, Southwestern pastels, imaginative plaids, masculine stripes, and ditsy florals all have a place here.  “I am never trying to set a specific vibe or refer back to a season,” she says. “The rugs are meant to be timeless and to work in a variety of spaces with different textiles and paint colors.”
