“I have my eye on several runners on Chairish at the moment,” Sarah Wittenbraker tells Domino. Though her favorite local shop is Black Sheep Unique. “They score the most amazing pieces and have taught me so much about the rug industry,” she says.

Etsy is designer Becki Owens’s favorite place to browse for unique, vintage rugs. “You can find them for a great value. Don’t be afraid to bargain with the seller,” she advises. “You may get an incredible deal,” Susana Simonpietri of Chango & Co agrees. When she’s not selecting from the large assortment of rugs from her Brooklyn store, she also loves to shop for inexpensive but beautiful rugs on Etsy.
