This past Fall, after years of dreaming of a move to the Big Apple, songstress Taylor Swift finally left her longtime home in Nashville and set up shop in lower Manhattan—splurging on a $19 million dollar pad in the trendy neighborhood of Tribeca.

The penthouse, formerly owned by director Peter Jackson, occupies the entire top floor of the downtown building and boasts seven-bedrooms, five-and-half bathrooms, and a separate 3-bedroom apartment for housing her team of security.

A lover of all things interior design, Swift is said to have speckled the space with touches of her signature whimsical style: antique birdcages filled with vintage books, personalized “Taybeca” (Taylor + Tribeca) candles from Le Labo, and plenty of instruments at-hand for writing new music.

Swift shares the 8,000 square foot space with best friend (and supermodel) Karlie Kloss—they especially love baking chocolate-coconut cookies and Rice Krispie treats in the full chef’s kitchen—as well as her popular pet felines, Meredith and Olivia!

And when the singer isn’t busy touring or being the new Global Welcome Ambassador for the city of New York, she’s known to host private album listening parties inside her spacious home for both fans and famous friends, like neighbor Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake.
