With a new season upon us, we’ve got one thing in mind: a refresh! And what better way to welcome spring than with a little revamp at home? Here are the seven shades we’re looking to for a much-needed recharge.

A wintery mix that’s fit for spring! Consider this icy blue shade an alternative to a timeless gray. Its elegance and serene depth establishes a cool finish, accentuated by natural greens and brass accents.

Paint To Try

Parma Gray, Farrow & Ball

This dynamic hue is reminiscent of a desert landscape at dusk. The red undertones coupled with the warm sand finish elevates what could have been a snoozy beige or brown. Taking cues from the wall paint, pair the look with accent pieces that emulate the daring red.

Rosario Ridge, Valspar

Blues will be ruling 2017, especially the more saturated variety that comes with a slightly green-blue or gray undertone. Under certain modes of natural light, the shade will embody the qualities of cerulean; sea-like, serene, and utterly defined. When it comes to bringing the shade into a room, take liberty in going with ‘more is more’ and layering the wall paint with furnishings of a similar scheme.

Paint To Try

Vardo, Farrow & Ball

We may not be over our obsession with pink, but we’re strongly in favor of redirecting the shade into more unexpected spaces. Bathrooms and kitchens rank in on the top of our list. Couple the paint with a matte black or dark grey for an elevated finish that’s all about the contrast.

Paint To Try

Pinwheel, Dulux

Purple, lilac, violet. Whatever you may call it, this part of the color spectrum can be especially difficult to decorate with. This season, we’re craving the shade with moody undertones and an entirely unreserved decor scheme.

Paint To Try

Wet Concrete, Benjamin Moore

A gray wall can often err towards the more impersonal spectrum, typically reserved for an exclusively contemporary scheme. Experiment with various textural finishes to impart a more dynamic and interesting effect.

Paint To Try

Binary Star, Behr

Yet another case for the blues! Featuring a breadth of subdued grays beneath the brilliant blue, this is one color that can stand to work within a variety of spaces. Complement the shade with dusty mustard accent pieces, and furnishings that skew towards a warmer palette.

Paint To Try

Cloudburst, Sherwin-Williams
