There isn’t much that makes Mary McDonald nervous. Chocolate brown, crystal goblets, Lalanne’s surreal “bird bed”—the Los Angeles designer and TV personality manages to find a place for it all. Now the O.G. antiques hunter, whose lustrous style is best described as Hollywood Regency–meets–Amalfi Coast, is bringing her eye to Chairish with a curated selection of her favorite home decor. Of the 135 items McDonald handpicked from the online marketplace, there’s plenty of decoupage, chinoiserie, and 19th-century lithographs to go around. A few old-school pieces we’ll be snagging before they’re gone for good:

The Serving Platter

This whimsical ceramic plate would fit right into a dining room swathed in Schumacher’s Chinois Palais, McDonald’s go-to wallpaper.

The Entryway Table

The only thing quirkier than a table made out of wicker is a base shaped like a monkey. Mexican artist Mario Lopes Torres’s jungle-inspired furniture from the ’70s will never fail to bring a smile to your face when you walk through the front door.

The Pendants

Master the old-world kitchen vibe Europeans love so much by hanging these glass Art Deco beauties over the island.

The Rug

Every object has a story. This hand-knotted wool carpet just happens to tell a captivating tale about mythical dragons chasing flaming pearls that represent wisdom.

The Artwork

We love a gallery wall comprised exclusively of portraits, and South Carolina artist Leslie Weaver’s abstract muses are the perfect place to start.

Happy treasure hunting!
