Mandy Moore’s hit NBC sitcom, “This is Us,” was just renewed for a second and third season. And the star took the opportunity to purchase a Mid-Century Modern home her character would love.

According to listing agent Alphonso Lascono, the scenic Mid-Century is nestled in the “highly coveted Linda Vista area of Pasadena and offers stunning panoramic views of the San Gabriel Mountains.”  Fellow listing agent Bjorn Farrugia adds: ”It’s also a fine example of esteemed architect Harold Zook’s clean, modern designs.”

Courtyard

Built in 1950, the flat-roofed estate is marked by its unique indoor-outdoor layout of floor-to-ceiling windows that open out to various gardens and terraces.

Living Area

The natural light-filled living room features a central fireplace with a classic copper hood.

Kitchen

The updated, gourmet kitchen offers a spacious center island, built-in wine storage, and a

breakfast nook

that opens to an al fresco dining patio.

Bathroom

Of the home’s three bedrooms, the master boasts a massive walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and views of mountains.

Terrace

There’s also French doors, wood floors, skylights, and clerestory windows throughout the ethereal home, as well as a formal office and family room.

Pool

And of course no hideout would be complete with a sparkling swimming pool and spa. We’re curious to see if Moore decides to keep the home as-is or renovate, but either way, we bet she’ll maintain its charm.
