We’re always looking for fun, fresh approaches to design—and a company that has always embodied that penchant for the new is beach girl brand Serena & Lily. The line has always championed breezy, relaxed decor that brings the outside in, which is why we couldn’t be more excited for co-founder Lily Kanter’s brand new venture that just launched today, May 10.

Let us introduce you to Boon Supply Co., the chicest way to buy everyday, affordable essentials for your home, while also giving back—as the word “boon” means “something that benefits,” Kanter wanted the aim of the brand to benefit both consumers and worthy causes alike. Boon Supply Co. is basically the online retailer you never knew you needed: Consisting of over 200 daily essentials—all priced under $25!—50 percent of the proceeds from any product you buy will benefit the fundraiser of your choice.

The company’s website will consist of a number of partner organizations the consumer can choose from, including Every Mother CountsAmerica Scores Bay Area, and Go Campaign—each of which support a different cause, such as maternal health, helping impoverished children, and so much more.

Customers can also start their own fundraiser by submitting the cause, goal, length of time, and description. They will then be given a unique code they can share with family and friends via social media or email, and have the option to include that code at checkout to help fund the goal of their choice.

“Boon Supply Co. is my passion project, bringing together my background in design, with a baked in social good element,” Kanter tells Domino about her powerful new venture. “I was approached to buy an existing school fundraising company, and I’ve been dreaming about a democratized giving/shopping platform for many years. It felt like serendipity to use the school fundraising business as a foundation to build the shopping platform for any cause, and to give a much-needed upgrade to the ‘gift wrap and cookie dough’ mentality that had monopolized the school fundraising space.”

Some standout products from the collection include colorful, floral gardening gloves, cute food huggies (aka the reusable silicone replacement of plastic wrap), cheery colorful bowls, and a bevy of clever kitchen tools (yes, we definitely need a flat sink colander).

“It’s a collection of affordable everyday goods across cooking, eco-friendly living, travel, home organization, set in a really fresh color palette,” says Kanter of the inspiration behind the new line. “This collection was designed for on-the-go, from our insulated casserole bags to our backseat car organizers to our reusable grocery bags.”

Another really fun option we can’t wait to get our hands on? The avocado slicer—seems so basic, but when you think about it, it’s one of the more innovate products in the home essentials space. Millennials and boomers alike: This is the one collection you can feel great about shopping this summer.
