In case you needed another reminder that designer, trendsetter, and all-around powerhouse Kelly Wearstler is the long-reigning champ of California-cool, the multihyphenate just dropped a new home collection in collaboration with iconic Danish steel and silver maker Georg Jensen, and it’s coastal-calm perfection.

Organic, minimal, and highly sculptural, the aptly titled Frequency collection encapsulates the fusion of water and light. References to the California landscape—in particular, the Pacific Ocean—can be found in the wave-like movements that inform every piece. The rippling effect draws on both the LA-based designer’s connection to the coast and the Art Nouveau lines that have long defined Georg Jensen’s sculpted approach to silver and steel.

“Created from stainless steel and inspired by nature and organic forms, the collection embodies a lustrous spirit and vibrant energy,” Wearstler writes on Instagram. “Thoughtful use of materiality and intricate, sculptural details elevate the simple forms with a modernist expression.”

Going beyond classic dinner and barware, Wearstler’s line for the beloved Scandinavian brand marks a crucial shift toward other spaces in the home. Ranging from $95 to $250, the Frequency collection includes candle holders, a vase, shallow bowls, and a large tray.

Despite their cool, shiny surfaces, the undulating ribbons of steel radiate warmth. Maximal and minimal (yes, it is possible to be both), Wearstler’s showstopping centerpieces deliver drama in its purest form. Here are three pieces that are already in our carts.

Don’t let its straightforward form fool you: This catchall is as versatile as they come. As a bonus vessel on the bedroom dresser, the sleek bowl will take on a casual attitude, but when you display it solo on an entryway table, it’ll make a decidedly grand statement.

You don’t have to drop a small fortune on exotic blooms to craft a modern floral arrangement. A recipe for juxtaposition, this crisp steel vase will stop onlookers in their tracks, no matter which wispy flowers you choose to display.

Our favorite way to cultivate Hygge? Candles. Keep cozy vibes going all year long (outdoors or in) with these dreamy glass-and-steel vessels.
