Hi everyone! I’m  @saracombs , a designer, artist, and desert lover. Welcome to Joshua Tree, CA and my new home,  @thejoshuatreehouse .  @richcombs  and I bought this 1949 hacienda a couple of months back, and we’ve been working on designing the space since! We’d love to have you follow along with our adventure. #locallyinspired 

A trip to Joshua Tree would not be complete without visiting the National Park ( @joshuatreenps ). The surreal landscape transports you to another time and space. #locallyinspired 

We were drawn to Joshua Tree because of the surreal landscape and the creative community. What sold us on this house though were those incredible beams! There’s still a lot to do in the house, but it’s coming along! #workinprogress

With so many artists and musicians in #joshuatree, there is constant inspiration. One of my favorite spots to visit is the Noah Purifoy sculpture garden. Each of his sculptures invite you to experience a memory of his own.

Another favorite stop in #joshuatree is @bkbceramics . We’ve already picked up some of these awesome mugs for @thejoshuatreehouse!

I love ending each day with a walk through the yard of  @thejoshuatreehouse   at sunset. The mountains glow red, and the sun streams through the cholla cacti. It’s been so fun taking you on a mini tour of #joshuatree! Follow me for more design inspiration, and maybe a cactus or two.  @saracombs
