To celebrate the debut of their new gift box collaboration, designer Jenni Kayne and professional gifter Simone LeBlanc hosted a lunch in the sunroom of Kayne’s family home.

Since their organically inspired creation draws its contents and color scheme from the California coast in autumn, the pair decided to extend this theme to their afternoon fete.

After opting for neutral linens and table settings, as well as a menu composed of garden-fresh ingredients, the hostesses called upon florist Kristen Caissie to create lush, laid-back arrangements from local wildflowers.

“We wanted to create something special that incorporated all our favorite elements for fall,” Kayne explains. “The lunch,” says LeBlanc, “brought the cozy, clean, earthy vibe of our new gift box to life.”

Each guest went home with one of LeBlanc’s artfully crafted gift boxes.

Wildflowers were loosely arranged in hand-carved bowls to complement the event’s informal atmosphere.
