8 Instagrams Our Favorite Designers Follow (and You Should, Too)

Ever wonder where designers get their seemingly endless inspiration for trendy, eye-catching design? Turns out, it’s the same place we return to again and again: Instagram. While we love a good Pinterest board, there’s also no shortage of inspo-worthy accounts on Instagram that are also worth a follow.
In fact, when we asked our favorite designers for their must-follow accounts for the coolest decorating ideas, a few of them had trouble picking just one. “There’s just so much talent out there,” says editorial design expert Heather Bullard. Tasked with the difficult job of selecting just one favorite, check out who our fellow design mavens recommend adding to your feed.
“I love @Dabito of Old Brand New,” says Stephanie Watkins of Casa Watkins Living. “His use of color is on point. He designs very colorful spaces without making it color-overload.” See inside Dabito’s playful New Orleans home here.
Designer Sarah Whittenbraker calls Kelly Wearstler “the queen” for her elegantly over-the-top designs and vibrant use of color and texture that feel beautiful, intentional, and oh so trendy.
“I’m very very into British design,” says Shavonda Gardner of SG Style Blog. “So my fave at the moment is Abigail Ahern.” Playing with deeper, more saturated hues and pops of interesting texture, Ahern and her London store expertly display multi-layered design.
Syd and Shea McGee are masters of clean lines and bright design. In fact, their amazing before-and-after studio makeover is an all-time favorite. Designer Jacklyn Clark of Lark & Linen raves about the husband and wife design duo’s instagram saying, “They’re killing it!”
Katrina Blair follows Mandy Kellog Rye of Waiting on Martha for her great sense of style. Check out her home’s interior photos along with a few lifestyle shots that make up her colorful account.
This LA-based design studio takes chic minimalism to the next level by adding in eclectic rustic details and antiques elements. Designer Amber Lewis of Amber Interiors comments on their Insta aesthetic by saying, “It’s all so dreamy.”
New York-based designer Robin Wilson curates her own Instagram full of thoughtfully designed spaces, life moments, and everyday inspiration. She gives a personal plug for everyone to go follow.
