Vacuums have a very singular job: They clean things up. It’s rare we brag about something so mundane, but a Domino contributing editor has been musing about her $70 vacuum for years, saying it honestly works better than any fancy $400 counterpart. And over 5000 (5,180 to be precise) nearly perfect Amazon reviewers agree, too—Eureka Mighty Mite Vacuum, $69.99 is apparently worth lauding.

It’s a rather uncomplicated design: a small, lightweight canister (weighing only nine pounds), which easily maneuvers tight corners, stairs, and underneath furniture. It also humbly only has a few attachments and bells and whistles—yes, it’s just a simple, easy-to-use vacuum. That being said, its power rivals its competitors. This strength makes it supreme at picking up hair, which can be a tricky task for most vacuums. One user said, “I have a cat that sheds even as she walks by. The Mighty Mite gets it off even materials like chair covers.”

Another reviewer, Victoria, says, “I’ve used this almost every day for over five years and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good canister vacuum.” She also reports the Eureka has a lot of power and that she can use it for everything from dusting to floors and carpeting.

It may be small, but it’s mighty. As evident by another Amazon reviewer’s remodeling cleanup. “I brought this into the remodel job (a bathroom) and used it to clean up the horrible aftermath of an evening of sanding new drywall mud—there is fine dust everywhere. My Mighty Mite stood up to any Shop Vac but took up a lot less room.”

In the words of one Amazon user, “This thing sucks—I love it!”
